It is a common misconception that we are fully anti-AI.
-AI is a broad term; it can be very useful for many different things and we are not fully against all versions of it. However, we do not allow AI generated images or videos on our site as we are against such uses of it. If you wish to post AI generated content, we kindly ask you to post it somewhere else. Also, we consider training an AI nonconsensually on data to be wrong; if a site does not allow AI training, that rule must be respected and obeyed.
-LLMs can be great at non-creative tasks such as math or coding as long as everything is properly verified by a human later. It can save much time whilst doing a good chunk of the work, allowing for better productivity. But, as always, to each their own.
What are some other useful utilizations for AI?
There are quite many, but here are a few:
- Denoising images. 3D softwares use a type of AI to denoise images. This is very useful for reducing render times and noise.
- Image enhancement. Real resolution is undeniably better, but if the situation does not allow raising the resolution, then AI image enhancement can help some.
- Video frame interpolation. Like with resolution, real is better but sometimes one cannot re-film the video. In this case, video interpolation creates frames to make the video playback smoother.
- Background removers. A tool used in most modern Photoshop programs to remove backgrounds. Erasing them manually would be mundane, but this speeds up the process without taking away much creative work.
Note: There are many more useful applications for AI, we just listed a few.
What are some good applications for AI in the future?
-In the future I am personally looking forward to AI retopology, weight painting, UV unwrapping and more other tedious but important tasks. Some human intervention will of course be necessary, but if it can get most of the work done with just some clean-up afterwards, those would be some great uses for it.

-Whether we like it or not, AI is a technology that is here to stay. It should not be used to replace creativity, but rather to help your workflow; to help you with the tedious aspects while giving you more time to work on the creative parts of your art.
