Name Definitions

Before reading the terms of service for Glade Art, please understand the following name definitions:

  • Us/we/the platform/site = Glade Art and its administrator(s).
  • Users = The normal everyday, registered users of Glade Art. This may include moderator roles if so stated.
  • Glade Art = The platform and site itself: gladeart.com
  • Moderators = Persons who conduct a safe place on the platform and enforce rules, send warnings, delete posts, delete comments, and help users with certain individual misunderstandings.
  • Administrator(s) = An individual, or several entities, who has access to the Glade Art server(s) and has the administrative privileges to ban users and change roles, along with an optional added role of a moderator if explicitly set. As of now, this is just one individual, Jackie Glade, who is the owner of the site.
  • Bots/scrapers/crawlers/AI trainers/harvesters = Automated bots that go onto the site using anything from simple scripts to advanced AI automation. Regardless of their purpose or intent, no types of bots are exempt from rules.
  • External site = The site shown before a login is executed. Without being logged in, one cannot see any user uploaded data (art).
  • Internal site = The site behind the login, which shows to a logged in individual, containing other users’ public posts, comments, and all of such activity. In order to log into an account, one must be registered to the site.
  • Art/posts/images/videos = User-uploaded images/videos on the site.
  • Content = Any user-uploaded content on the site. This includes any user-uploaded data stored on the server's database, be it comments, likes, posts, reports, messages, etc.
  • You = The individual or entity who is reading this terms of service.

Important Statements

BY REGISTERING AND USING THE INTERNAL SITE OF GLADE ART IN ANY WAY YOU MUST ACCEPT OUR PRIVACY POLICY AND ABIDE WITH OUR TERMS OF SERVICE. IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THESE TERMS, THEN YOU ARE PROHIBITED FROM USING THE PLATFORM. IF THESE TERMS CHANGE AND YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THEM, THEN YOU MUST TERMINATE YOUR USE OF THE SITE.

Except for the excluded, unchanging ones, these terms can be changed without notice by Glade Art.

The following terms are unchanging; excluded from change:

  • Glade Art will never use user‑uploaded posts for AI training.
  • Glade Art will never claim ownership of user‑uploaded posts.
  • Glade Art will never sell user‑uploaded posts to third parties for AI training.

gladeart.com is the official domain of Glade Art.

Responsibility

GLADE ART IS NOT TO BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CONTENT UPLOADED OR LINKED ONTO THE SITE; IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE USER TO NOT PUBLISH ILLEGAL CONTENT ONTO THE PLATFORM. BY PUBLISHING ILLEGAL CONTENT ONTO THE PLATFORM, THE USER TAKES ALL LEGAL RESPONSIBILITY OF DOING SO, AND GLADE ART WILL NOT BY ANY MEANS BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IT.

ALTHOUGH WE WILL DO WHAT WE CAN TO PREVENT THEM, WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY VIRUSES/TROJANS/WORMS OR ANY MALICIOUS FILES SPREAD TO DEVICES THROUGH OUR SITE OR FROM LINKS TO OTHER SITES.

User

BY REGISTERING AND USING THE INTERNAL SITE YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 13 YEARS OF AGE.

By interacting with the internal site in any way, you must read, accept, and abide with the rules: https://gladeart.com/rules.

Bots are explicitly not allowed into the internal site anyways, but human users must agree to the no spam rule:

  • You cannot interact with users for the purpose of making profit unethically or maliciously. You may link your websites on your profile. You may not exchange any sort of payment information or sell things directly on Glade Art. For payment related messages, use the direct messages for getting the client’s email address and pay there, not on Glade Art messages. We are of course not responsible for refunding stolen money or anything relating to the sort. But you can report the user to get them banned.
  • A user cannot evade bans. It is strictly prohibited. This includes creating other accounts to bypass their previous account's ban. Although having several accounts is not against the rules, using other accounts to evade bans is. If you want to file a ban appeal, send an email to the Glade Art contact email explicitly stating your banned account username and why you were wrongly banned.
  • Sending files to users to harm their devices is prohibited. Report any users who do so.
  • You may not use or access another person’s account under any circumstances.
  • You may not attempt to disrupt, damage, disable, overburden, or impair the site or its services. This includes, but is not limited to, hacking, introducing malicious code, interfering with network traffic, bypassing security measures, or exploiting vulnerabilities.

Bots / AI Training / Scraping

Scraping, automated data collection, or manual human-powered data collection for AI training on this site is strictly prohibited. Bots of any kind are prohibited from using the internal site. Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination of access. Users engaging in such activity may be held liable for any resulting damages, including but not limited to costs of investigation, enforcement, and attorney’s fees.

Manual human powered bot-like farms are considered spam. Spam is strictly forbidden.

Bots must obey robots.txt.

Take-Down Requests and Reporting

Piracy is of course not allowed on Glade Art as it falls under the category of illegal content. As stated above, Glade Art holds no legal responsibility of illegal content uploaded on the platform, however, we do have moderation. If you see any illegal or rule-breaking content on the platform, please report it and we will do our best to resolve the issue.

User Rights

You have all rights to your art if it is your original content.

In the event of a non original content post, proper crediting is required. This must include the original artist's username, link to their profile, or any other form of crediting which would make them show up near the top in a simple search engine search. The original artist has the right to request their art to be deleted even if properly credited.

Before re-posting art which already exists on Glade Art, you need explicit permission from the original artist on the platform to do so. And, as stated before, re-posts must have proper crediting. Overall though, re-posting art which already exists on the site is not recommended.

Glade Art Rights

Glade Art does not take any ownership of any art posted onto the platform. The ownership, as stated above, goes solely to the original artist.

Glade Art does not sell any art, emails, passwords, account activity, history, or any other user data by any means.

Glade Art moderators have the right to delete any content posted onto the platform if it violates the rules. Glade Art administrator(s) have to right to delete or ban users and to delete any content on Glade Art at will.
